Prepare for a night like no other...

Do not miss this one-night-only dining experience, combining performance and the culinary arts. The second of five events in a roving pop-up dinner series, Makin' It: CHICAGO celebrates creativity and passion by pairing local, up-and-coming chefs and artists.

On Tuesday, July 15th, join us as we take over a designer's rooftop loft in Chicago’s West Town where you will be treated to a dinner by a Michelin starred Chef, a variety of carefully selected Rhône Valley wines and a mixerie of some of the most progressive artists in Chicago.

Our master sommelier has fastidiously combed through the Rhône region to select and pair 10 of the best wines to compliment this gastronomic journey…

As the evening unfolds, a bevy of artists will intrigue and intellectually delight guests. We’ve gathered assemblage painters, performance artists,  and a very special creator to intrigue the mind in the midst of your palate.

The setting is intimate and the number of tickets available is limited and will go quickly.  Admission is $125 and is all-inclusive of food, wine, service, and all other surprises to come…

Featured Chef: Phillip Foss

 EL Ideas, Chicago

Featured Artist: Jason Brammer

Painter & Object Maker

Chef Phillip Foss ( EL Ideas) works without rules and perimeters, designing eclectic menus that leave his guests baffled and in wonder as each course unfolds. This talent as well as his ability to make delicious food has earned him the highest honor of the food world: a Michelin Star.

Jason Brammer is best known for his mixed media hand-painted assemblages, distinctive airbrushed paintings and site-specific installations. Described as a "magician with paint", he experiments with illusionism and trompe l'oeil, "fooling the eye" by seamlessly integrating real objects and painted surfaces. He enjoys making pieces that look like found artifacts, deteriorating archived relics, or antique “machines”, and strives to capture the feeling of glimpsing into another dimension or time.
